Step into the world of Angels and Demons as they appear in Indo-Persian miniature painting, where mythology, spirituality and imagination meet on the page.

 

Over three days, you will choose an angel or demon of your own and bring it to life on handmade Wasli paper. You will work with traditional materials: soot, walnut ink, natural and watercolour pigments, and the finest miniature brushes to create an original miniature painting. 

 

Along the way, you'll enjoy the quiet pleasures of the craft: the meditative rhythm of the brush, the intimacy of handmade materials, and the timeless beauty of miniature painting. 

 

All materials provided. No experience needed, just an interest in drawing and watercolour painting.
